iQ Lacrosse was founded in 2021 with a single, simple mission: player developmentAs a former Division I USILA Scholar All-American and U.S. Box National Team midfielder, iQ Lacrosse - Founder, Austin Popovich, has built every aspect of our club program on a foundation of developing future leaders of the sport, both on and off the field.

The name iQ Lacrosse reflects our commitment to the mental side of the game. Understanding the "why" behind every movement, making quick decisions under pressure, and reading the field in real time are at the core of our coaching philosophy. We develop smarter players—not just faster ones—because lacrosse IQ often separates good players from great ones. The lowercase “i” in our name represents humility and selflessness: core values instilled in our coaching philosophy. No egos, no shortcuts. Just hard work, discipline, and a team-first mindset.

As a proud PLL Verified Organization, we are committed to delivering the most comprehensive club lacrosse team experience in Central Ohio. Our coaching staff is composed of former collegiate and professional lacrosse players and coaches who have proven their immense dedication to the sport and understand what it takes to compete at the highest level. Our coaching style is designed to foster player development at all ages. Every rep is purposeful, every movement is coached, and every athlete is held to a standard that prepares them for the demands of lacrosse at the next level.

Collegiate Recruitment for High School Athletes
As a young program, the 2025/26 season will be the first season in which we have teams old enough to begin the recruiting process, and we couldn't be more excited! Starting this year, our high school teams will officially enter our Next Level Program—a comprehensive collegiate recruitment initiative designed to provide hands-on guidance for athletes and families through every step of the recruiting journey. This program will equip players with the tools, knowledge, and support needed to navigate the collegiate recruiting landscape and reach their full potential. Components will include educational courses on the recruiting process, 1:1 recruitment strategy meetings, collegiate-level strength & conditioning plans, and more! Our coaching staff brings a wealth of recruiting experience from both sides of the process, as athletes and coaches, at the collegiate and professional levels. Simply put, we know what it takes and how to get there. We can't wait to guide our athletes as they take the next big step in their lacrosse journey!

FIELD TEAM   -   FALL '25  &  SUMMER '26

During the fall, teams will practice three times per week for 4-5 weeks and attend one tournament. We implement skills training and speed & agility training in practices to better create an environment where players can sharpen their skills, develop team-chemistry, and learn offensive/defensive formations in preparation for the fall tournament. Fall 2025 season tournament TBA! In previous years, we have attended The Graveyard (7v7) in Canton, OH and The Boo Bash (10v10) in Oxford, MI.

During the summer, teams will practice three times per week for 6-7 weeks and attend three tournaments. This summer, we are attending Midwest Prime in Lebanon, OH, The Ohio Lacrosse Festival in New Albany, OH, and The King of Queens Lacrosse Festival in Lebanon, OH. We understand the travel commitment with club lacrosse can be a lot, so we aim to keep all tournaments within a 4 hour driving distance. We strive to make the club experience as smooth as possible for all families while providing unparalleled player development.
